Perhaps the greatest discovery and the most promising; hemp plastic is not yet marketed but a lot of testing has been made on it..
Petro chemicals are replaced by those found in the cellulosis of the stem of the hemp plant. This has the enormous advantage of being a completely biodegradable plastic.
China has been on this case for a few years already. A breakthrough in this domain could come sooner than forseen.
Many products harmful to the environment can be replaced by others, made of hemp:

- Paint
- Lacquer
